For more than a generation, families across the Staffordshire Moorlands have trusted us with the people they love most. As a small, family-owned care home, we keep care personal, relationships familiar and our surroundings calm, so every resident can feel genuinely at home.

Life at Rock Cottage is about more than care. Residents can enjoy freshly prepared meals, music, crafts, entertainment and time outdoors, with comfortable communal spaces for relaxing.
Our countryside setting brings a sense of peace, while our connection with the children’s nursery on site adds an uplifting sense of community.

We provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care, as well as end-of-life care. Our approach is centred around each resident’s individual needs, preferences and circumstances.
Can I arrange a visit to Rock Cottage?
Yes. We encourage families and prospective residents to come and see the home for themselves. A visit gives you the opportunity to look around, meet our team and ask any questions you may have.
Do you provide 24-hour care?
Yes. Our team provides care and support around the clock, helping residents feel safe, comfortable and well supported throughout the day and night.
Can you cater for individual dietary requirements?
Yes. Our food is freshly prepared on site, with menus tailored to individual tastes and dietary requirements. We’re happy to discuss specific needs as part of the care planning process.
What happens after I make an enquiry?
A member of our team will get in touch to understand what you’re looking for, answer your questions and discuss the options available. If appropriate, we can then arrange a visit to Rock Cottage.

Can residents bring their own furniture and belongings?
Yes. We encourage residents to bring personal belongings, photographs and familiar items that help make their room feel like their own. We’re happy to discuss what furniture and belongings can be accommodated.
Can family and friends visit?
Yes. Family and friends are an important part of life at Rock Cottage, and we welcome visits. We can talk you through our visiting arrangements when you contact us or come to visit.
